Costa Rica is, without a doubt, an exceptional and immensely rich country for its biodiversity, scenery, flora, and fauna. Here coexist some of the most attractive species in the world, including the famous Quetzal.<\/p>\n

As a matter of fact, in the Copey district, in the Dota canton, you can find the Los Quetzales National Park<\/strong> (76.5 kilometers south of the capital of Costa Rica).<\/p>\n

“It\u00b4s a special area for bird watching, such as the Quetzal (Pharomachrus mocinno), a near-threatened species according to the IUCN list”, \u00a0<\/em>reports the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC) on its website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And just 6 km from this national park you will find our Quetzal Viewpoint, where we organize tours to observe Quetzals and other birds. A unique experience that everyone should live at least once in their lives.<\/p>\n

Quetzal Tour:<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

This is a 2-hour adventure, where you will also walk through the forest to find more birds, talk a little about the natural history of this rich ecosystem and show you why this site is a green paradise.<\/p>\n

We offer this educational experience in two options: 2 hours or 4 hours “birding” (bird watching).<\/p>\n

You will walk through trails, gardens, along roadsides and rivers, looking for a variety of species such as tanagers, warblers, nuthatches, woodpeckers, quetzals, blackbirds, hummingbirds and much more, including the unique and endemic species of the highlands.<\/p>\n

So, with either of these two tours, you can explore the magical colors and sounds of the cloud forest, enjoy the fresh mountain air and take back home, priceless memories.<\/p>\n

In addition, if you need lodging and meals, remember that we also have rooms for 2 and up to 6 people<\/a>, bungalow style, and we have the wonderful gourmet restaurant Atardecer<\/a> (Sunset), with dishes fit for a king.<\/p>\n
